A native New Yorker based in Portland, OR, Jeff has been a professional photographer for more than 30 years.
Jeff began his career as a production assistant in the film and advertising industry in 1984 and soon transitioned into location scouting for television commercials and print advertisements. Jeff’s life long love of travel led him throughout the United States and the world, and compelled him to location scouting. His practical knowledge of the camera developed into a passion for photography, which evolved as Jeff developed his own inspired personal vision. Photography offers him the ideal medium for expressing the transitory nature of time and emotion and the interplay between them.
Jeff has now developed a career as a commercial photographer specializing in architectural photography. His style consists of capturing a real-life feel to the projects he photographs, while working with light, color, and form, to show a space that one can work and/or live in. He structures his fees and work style with the goal of making the entire photo-shoot experience for his clients as easy, and as pleasant as possible. Jeff will go beyond the call of duty to deliver a product they will love.
Since the early 1990’s, Jeff’s evocative and often ethereal black and white images have been exhibited in several group and solo shows in NY, Los Angeles, Tulsa, OK, and Portland and Astoria, OR.
